We booked a beachside shark fishing trip
had a great overall experience, even though the sharks just weren’t cooperating that day. The only fish we ended up catching were bait fish, but we know that’s the nature of fishing—especially when targeting sharks.

The guide was knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard throughout the trip. They made sure we had everything we needed, explained the process, and did everything they could to give us the best chance at success. The setup was well organized, and we still enjoyed spending time on the beach and experiencing something different.

While we would have loved to land a shark, we understand there are no guarantees in fishing. We’d gladly book with them again and hope for better luck next time.

Had an awesome experience booking through FishingBooker! Even though we didn’t land a shark this time, the trip itself was still well worth it. The weather was unpredictable and the tide was lower than expected, which made conditions tough, but the captain stayed positive, professional, and worked hard to put us on fish. Great atmosphere, great memories, and an overall amazing experience on the water. I’d definitely book again!

Gulf Coast Yaker’s has plenty of photos on their site of customers catching sharks for a reason. They know exactly what they’re doing and all of those photos are proof of it! Our group witnessed it first hand too and we were all in disbleif when we caught our first catch (a 4 ft shark) within less than 2 hours. BTW we only booked it for 4 hours so they are very efficient at what they do. Also, out of those 4 hours booked we really only had 3 hours because we were late due to us not knowing about the ferry we had to take to get there from Galveston. Even then, Gulf Coast Yaker’s gave us the extra hour without even asking. That was very generous and professional of them, but it’s easy for them to do because they’re just doing what they LOVE to do. So to them it’s not really work at all. You can tell they are genuinely passionate about fishing and just want to see their customers happy and having a good time. Our group had an AMAZING time andtill can’t believe we caught our fist shark and we’re looking forward to doing this again soon! We would defintely recommend them!

we were able to catch 3 differnet species of fish and did end up landing a shark during the trip. The captain and his crew went above and beyond and made the most of our trip. It was a much better experience than we had in Florida the previous year!

we had a great time with our guide David.  caught a shark right away, even early in season.  fishing off the beach is a great way to fish with kids, and David got all the kids involved.  this is a great trip for families with kids.
