We came to Bolivar Peninsula for a family vacation (ages 6 to 70). We wanted to do some saltwater fishing, but not everyone wanted to got out on boat.

We did the 4 hour afternoon fishing trip. It was the best experience EVER! We landed a 7 foot shark after 30 minutes into the trip. We caught a total of 5 sharks! I highly recommend booking a charter here!

Steve was so friendly! He taught the kids so much about saltwater fishing! This was the highlight of our trip!

Did a 6 hr day time shark trip. Didn’t have any luck on the sharks but caught a bunch of catfish and whiting. Capt was very knowledgeable and hard working! He did everything possible to catch fish, it just wasn’t our day! Would highly recommend!

The day was great. We had a party of 10 people and they all had a fun time. Captain was very professional and pleasant to work with. He knew what he was doing. The kids caught (2) larger sharks during the trip and some smaller sharks and other fish as well. Definitely great lasting memories. Thank you!

We really like the experience and wanted to try something different after fishing from a boat last year. We caught a couple of shark. It wasn’t a lot but the experience was great and we had a lot of fun.

There were five adults and two children in our party. We heard that captain Steven had lined up a helper but the helper did not show up. Captain Steven worked very hard, was very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, since his help did not show it took a long time for him to get all the lines going. He uses a drone to take the bait out and he had a bit of a struggle with the drone malfunctioning. We were newbies and really did not know what to expect on a shore fishing charter. We caught a few whiting and one bull shark. Landing the bull shark was fun. When we had just gotten the shark to shore a random truck drove over the lines, dragging them down the shore. With two children in the party that was quite a fright. Captain Steven handled things very well and we moved vehicles to block off the trail for safety.

We certainly cannot blame him for the low tide and sharks that were not very hungry. He did his best to get lines out without help and coached us through landing the shark. He then took some great photos to memorialize our adventure.
