We arrived a little early for our scheduled pick up and Captain Tyler was able to pick us up early.  He got us on the fish in no time.  He was fantastic with my kids and even got my 13 year old daughter to hold a massive striper that she reeled in.  In 4 hours we caught about 20 fish.  We even brought one home for dinner.  It was a great experience for our family. We had a great morning with Capt Tyler. After getting the youngest secured in a flotation vest, we cruised to our first spot, caught and released many striped bass. We also secured our dinner. On to the second spot, and second species, Blue fish. Couple of quick fish, on to my favorite of the day, Bonito. Couple of nice fish. All in a four hour window. Captain Tyler Putney for the win. Tropical storm Debby limited the options of where we could fish. Capt Tyler asked if we could go out of Plymouth instead of Bass River. And we could.  So I appreciated the Captains flexibility with the time and the location. We landed some Striped Bass, and had a great fishing experience.

We had a great trip with Tyler catching striper and bonito. He was patient and helpful with my two sons and helped us catch a ton of striper quickly after we left Yarmouth. On the way back he taught us how to fish for Bonito and that was a ton of fun too. I’d easily recommend him to friends and will call him back next time we’re looking to charter a boat.

Captain really knows his stuff. Found plenty of Stripers in the 28 to 36 inch category. He had the exact lure the fish wanted and the right rod and reel to bring the fish in. Next time I go he’ll be my first call. Tim
