This was our first time out in the ocean fishing like this as a tour. Not knowing what to expect but to have a lot more excitement and motivation from our captain but unfortunately not really receiving it from this trip. We had a great day catching halibut with Captain Keith Washburn of Fantasea Fishing Charter at Seward, Alaska.  Captain Keith was very cordial and thorough explaining the rules of his boat and how to fish for halibut. One member of our group landed a 74 lb halibut! The rest of us had the thrill of landing our limit.  We will definitely book a future fishing trip with Captain Keith.

Captain Keith with Fantasea Charters is fantastic! He kept us on the fish and made the trip entertaining. He gave us all the tips we needed to land fish, and offered encouragement as needed. The other guys on the boat were fantastic as well. We all caught our limit of halibut, and we had a great time! We can not recommend Fantasea Charters and Captain Keith enough. I highly recommend him!

Really knowing very little about ocean fishing, I was very impressed with Captain Keith’s management of our 1/2 day salmon fishing experience. He and his boat were ‘the real deal’, giving our grandsons a realistic introduction to the ruggedness of living and working in Alaska. Captain Keith made sure we were comfortable and warm while the weather outside was drizzly and gloomy, and took us out to where the boys had the invigorating and exciting experience of pulling in some delicious salmon.... It’s a clean but older boat with an experienced Captain.  Capt’n Keith has 42 years experience working in Alaska.  He is very familiar with the seas and good fishing spots and everyone caught their quota of fish.  We had five anglers aboard.
