What a perfect day!!
The parking was easy to find and safe.
The crew were friendly and welcoming.
We started out on our trip in an absolutely spotless boat! I’ve done many trips and often boats are a little messy, this one was really clean. It has a cabin where you can sit out of the wind/sun if you should so choose. The sea was quite unsettled at the start but gradually settled through the day. Many humpbacked whales were spotted during this trip which was an added bonus. However, the main reason for this trip was to catch fish, and fish we caught! Tk, our skipper, and our deck hand, Colin,
were excellent!! Baiting, placement, advice and teaching throughout! When i caught my sea salmon the excitement on the boat was infectious with high fives all around! A thoroughly enjoyable day which ended too soon!! (6 hour trip)
I highly recommend Blue Ray, stop thinking about it - just book it!! Its incredible!
My only regret is that I don’t live closer to do it all again!

Living in the memory of my late dad and the one thing that was his absolute favorite. Fishing!!!!

I have to say if anything i would really book another trip just to spend the day with the amazing sailor and his assistant. I left feeling absolutely sick and due to taking meds i have forgotten their names. However i would really thank them for being so warm and welcoming to my family and having us on board. We will always remember our new years day spent with you both.

Went out today (beginning of September 2025) with a group of 3 of us. The deck hand and skipper were beyond great! Enthusiastic as possible and made us even more excited for the day! Managed to catch close to 15 fish for the 4 hours (mid/mini) including a baby shark! Excellent experience! Thanks guys

The trip was better than expected, our Crew were super tolerant. We caught fish, had fun, and made a memory. That was my expectation!

Thanks to Captain H and his Crew mate for a great day of fishing! Captain H was great with my 5year old son and family! Father in law caught a great Mahi Mahi which we got cleaned by the crew and cooked at the Royal Yacht club, by the captain’s recommendation!

All around top 10 last day experience in Durban! Highly recommend and will be back with my family again! Boat 10/10, handled the waves great and safely!
