Captain Darren was amazing with his communication before and during the charter. We enjoyed his company while out on the lake the boat was perfect for spending the afternoon on the water and we caught our fill of king salmon! I recommend the Pirate Charter to anyone looking for a great experience.

What an experience. First time on Lake Michigan and WOW what trip.  Day one was slow but day 2 did not disappoint us. Be prepared for a workout is one of those big boys go on a run. NE wind made for a cool and very choppy day out on the water. Fish didn’t cooperate very well but to no fault of the captain. He worked really hard and was finally able to get a little action towards the end of the trip. Was able to land a very large Coho Salmon just before the water got rough enough we had to head in. Communication was great with a very greatly hard working captain.

Both Jim and Darren were great and spent the time to get us on some good fish! We are already looking at booking another trip with them next month. Highly recommended.
