Fishing has always been my passion. I started Trout fishing at 6 years old, I worked on charter boats for 10 years before becoming a captain. I have a lot of experience in sportfishing and some in commercial fishing. I enjoy seeing the thrill of a new person or kids catching their first fish and anglers catching their personal best. Pelagic fish are my favorite catches.

    We had an absolutely amazing experience fishing with Captain Sergio! 🎣 He was incredible from start to finish, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Despite the challenging weather conditions, Captain Sergio went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and felt comfortable throughout the trip. We had such a fun and memorable time, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better captain. We would 100% book another trip with Captain Sergio and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing fishing experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    1/2 Day- Local Trip • 4 adults • 2 children

    Cap was amazing. Perfect trip with two young kiddos. Put us right on fish immediately. Even took us whale watching on the way back. Do yourself a favor and book a private charter with Captain Sergio aboard Bent Rod. Most charters in the area have 30+ people on their boat (hard pass for me). Bent Rod Sportfishing does not disappoint!

    Captain Sergio owner of the Bent Rod Fishing Charter Service out of Morro Bay and his wife Melissa - Would be more than welcome in our home any time - any day of the year - That's the type of people they are !!! Re our day of fishing - a 10 hour charter - apart from catching the most delicious fish we've had the opportunity o eat after coming home - we were also savoring the great time we had that day with our family in Morro Bay with Sergio and Melissa and their great service.

    Day trip was so much fun. Took my granddaughter for the first time. We all caught so many fish and the captain made it so easy. Recommend again and again!!
