First time flats fishing in islamorada, me and my wife decided to use a guide to fish these fun but different waters in the back country of the keys.  We took a trip into Everglades national park catching snook, bonefish and mangrove snapper. This is my second trip out with Captain Andy and again a really super experience. I had my 20 something daughter along for the trip initially just to observe and Andy handed her a rod and got her right into it. Needless to say she was thrilled catching snook, mangrove snapper, a barracuda and sea bass. My Son and I had a great day with Capt. Andy working the Flats.  Despite windy conditions and a temperature drop, before too long Capt.  Andy spotted some snook on the mangrove edge as well as in the open, along with some barracuda.  Along with getting some nice snook we caught several mangrove snappers.  Along the way Capt. Andy shared his vast knowledge of fishing the Flats, Everglades and several destinations around the country. Hope to get out there again .
