The skipper and DoubleRum crew, really looked after our group of 9, for our Wedding Boys day fishing trip.

The fish caught on the day exceeded all our expectations, with a full quota of snapper, in record time. We all had a blast of a day on the water.

To finish off a great trip, with anchor and fresh cooked fish onboard enjoyed by all.

We can not speak highly enough of the hospitality shown by the DoubleRum crew. To the skipper, thank you so much, from all of the wedding party, for an awesome day fishing.

This will not be our last trip, definitely planning our next trip on the DoubleRum 😄🐟🐟🐟👍

We organised an 80th birthday surprise for my dad to catch some kingfish with captain Brett and our group had a lot of fun everyone was very complimentary of the captain and the crew and the effort they went to to make sure they catch some kingies despite the unexpected change in weather half way through the trip. Dad was smiling ear to ear when he got home! We certainly would book Double Rum again without hesitation

We had a great time on the Double rum charter. The crew was phenomenal and very helpful. We caught lots of red snapper and a few king fish. Ran into the tax man(sharks) a few times as well. Hands down the best fishing charter ive been on. (Im Canadian and fish 150 days a year in Canada). If you love catching fish, this is the place to be in Auckland.

Stable platform for fishing.  Not a large cockpit.
5-6 people is good number.

The captain’s manners were nice to him.
The description of the safety and behavior that guests should observe on board was wonderful
The first time a boat fishing was given to customers, they were convinced that they could catch the fish and the sense of stability that overcomes fear
