Kick off the year with awesome offshore fishing, heading out to the Sailfish Highway to battle these acrobatic beasts. Double-digit catches happen daily when these legendary waters are at their best.

Big Sailfish are still putting anglers through their paces offshore. On the reefs, Cobia and Barracuda make for hard-fought battles, with big Grouper, Snapper, and Tilefish as the spoils of war.

As the weather warms up, the fisheries come to live in every depth of water. Peacock Bass prepare to spawn, while the first few Swordfish start showing up in the ocean's darkest depths.

The Boynton Beach Firefighters Fishing Tournament is the biggest angling event of the year in Boynton Beach, with $25,000 in prize money, and high stakes fishing for King Mackerel, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi.

Spend your days battling monster Tuna and Sailfish offshore or Tarpon and Snook inshore. Afterward,&nbsp;head to the Boynton Beach Food, Wine, & Brew Festival to relax and enjoy some food and drink.

White Marlin come crashing into town in June, making for epic offshore action. Inshore, large numbers of Permit, Tarpon, and Snook (Catch & Release only) will give you hours of fun, too!

Celebrate the 4th of July in style, with a firework display and live music at the Intracoastal Park. For the rest of the month, you'll have to make do with the huge numbers of White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and Swordfish.

Blue Marlin finally show up on the offshore scene in August, lagging behind their acrobatic cousins. This is your best chance of catching both in one trip, so get out there and have fun!

The Boynton Beach Harvest Festival has been held for several years and makes for a great day out. With a classic car show, a local goods market, and lots of fun for the kids, it's well worth a visit.

The Boynton Beach Pirate Fest &amp; Mermaid Splash is the perfect place to spend the day, with a jamboree parade, mermaid pageant, music, and more, it has something for the whole family.

The first few Sailfish show up in November, while Snook, Permit, and Bonefish swarm the shallows for awesome fly fishing action. And that's without mentioning the constantly active reefs nearby!

The Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade has been held for almost half a century and is still one of the highlights of the festive season. Don't let it distract you from the awesome reef and deep sea fishing, though.
