Captain Mark Miller has been fishing since he was 6 years old (so for roughly 47 years). He has fished in a variety of tournaments; he has been fishing in the Keys now for 10+ years and knows the area very well. He is licensed and insured. As the proud father of 2 sons, Nathan and Mitchel, 2 step sons Jon and Jerry, and husband to his amazing wife Kelly, Captain Mark Miller enjoys mentoring people of all ages on the boat and teaching them the art of responsible fishing, so we strongly encourage our guests to bring their kids and family. Mahi Mania Fishing Charters was founded on a long tradition of hard work and pride in doing a job you can be proud of. He also believes in treating customers with respect and professionalism, which he learned from his dad. Who had a family painting business for over 100 years, which was built on quality work and being on time and well prepared for each and every day.

    Great Day Fishing on Mahi Mania!

    6 Hour Trip • 5 adults

    We had an amazing day on the water with Capt. Mark and Chris!! I told them my daughter wanted to catch her first Mahi and they absolutely delivered. They put us on fish right away and her first Mahi was a giant! We caught several more Mahi and a Skipjack tuna along with a shark, barracuda, and two Bonitos. The action was great all day long and my family had a wonderful time on the water. Capt. Mark and Chris were easy going and friendly and immediately made us feel at home on their boat. They are family friendly and very knowledgeable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with them. If you’re looking for a great day fishing, I highly recommend booking a trip aboard the Mahi Mania! Thank you, Mark and Chris!!

    What a great time! My husband has taken charters before. He spent time researching the boat, the captain/crew & other references. No matter how much research ... you are still taking a chance. Well - rest assured ... when booking here - you are making a great choice. From the moment we stepped on the boat - till our departure, it was great. Captain Mark knew where to take us to get the most out of the afternoon. Chris as first mate expertly aided us, sharing information about the area and the local fish. The way Mark and Chris worked together was impressive and gave us great results - we caught a total of 7 fish in a fun filled, action-packed trip. Highly recommend Mahi Mania!

    8 Hour Trip • 3 adults

    Captain Mark and Chris were great They are do friendly and knowledgeable we felt comfortable from the very beginning even though we did not know what to expect What we got was a Captain who listened to what we wanted to try and then did his best to deliver We wanted mahi we got mahi although they all just a little to small But my son caught a nice wahoo and that is not a bad consultation prize While we were trolling Chris explained how we were fishing and more Mark was constantly making sure the rigs were right and trying to put us on fish when things slowed off shore we went in to patch reefs and caught yellow tails and barracuda These two truly gave us what we asked for and more I would have wrote this last night but i was busy preparing fish for supper!!! If you want a fun day on the water and catch some fish this is the crew to be with My wife and son cannot stop talking about how great of a time we had We are already planning are next trip Thank you Mark and Chris!!

    Unbelievable Experience!

    6 Hour Trip • 3 adults

    I took my 31 year old son fishing before starting a residency program and we could not have asked for a more spectacular adventure. Four to six foot swells and it was Mahi Mania. Captain Mark and 1st mate Chris were great. very positive, professional and really very talented. We caught fish the entire 6 hours we were out and we each reached are limit. we just had a great time!

    Completely Excellent Fishing Experience

    5 Hour Trip - 11:00 AM • 3 adults

    First time offshore fishing (three of us) and wanted to target catching Mahi Mahi. Captain Mark and Chris were great hosts, guided us through everything, very skilled, and simply made the entire experience fun. We definitely were successful catching several Mahi plus barracuda too. Strongly recommend to others.

    had beautiful weather for ihr 6 hour trip. Capt Mark and first had Chris were good folks. trolled reef and caught Barracuda and some Yellow tail. went deep and trolled for bigger fish but were unlucky. went back and trolled more catching some more Barracuda and some yellow rail. Was a little frustarted when we kept stopping to pick yeti’s out of the water, boat bouyo’s, and a strange taped package that looked suspicious. Overall we had a good time being out on the water and catching the fish we did.

    Last minute we booked a trip with Captain Mark and Chris. Despite the rough water, they put us on some fish and we were able to catch some bucketlist Mahi. Chris is an awesome guy and a great deck hand. I would definitely go on another trip with them in the future.

    Captain Mark and his mate Chris did an excellent job taking care of us on our trip. We wanted mahi but the mahi were hiding. We caught some triple tail and peanut mahi. We had a good time and would go out again on the Mahi Mania!

    Mark and Chris were awesome. Tried everything and then tried again . Tough day fishing. Tried Targeting Mahi. No luck. Ended up catching a few barracudas. Conditions were perfect. Captain and First mate tried everything. The fish gods were not with us today. I would still recommend them

    Fantastic time! Caught 9 Tuna and had it for dinner near by. Great experience. Captain Mark and Chris were exceptional!

What's biting with Mahi Mania Fishing Charters in Key Largo

Cold fronts start to arrive, which can mix up the fishing. Flats and backcountry are always a good choice, with Snook, Redfish, and Speckled Trout biting well. Otherwise, choose a calm day to get out onto the reefs or offshore.
