  Great Fishing Experience

  Jon is a great captain - he is very knowledgeable and knows fishing techniques. Definitely recommend him if you're looking to do fishing in Tofino His boat is very nice and very clean We booked a 4-hour trip with him, and he did everything to provide us with a unique fishing experience. His knowledge and experience helped us to catch Chinook Salmon and rockfish Will definitely rebook with Captain Jon next time we're back in Tofino.

  July fishing trip

  Captain Jon was fantastic. He worked hard throughout the trip to put us on fish and never stopped trying, despite challenging conditions and having 2 kids on board. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side—cold, windy, and rainy… typical Tofino! We had three bites, including one confirmed coho salmon, but unfortunately none made it into the boat. We did catch two crabs, which was a nice bonus. Although the fishing itself was a bit disappointing, we still had a great time. The wildlife viewing was outstanding, with sea otters making frequent appearances and a close encounter with a bald eagle . Overall, a good experience thanks to Captain Jon’s effort and professionalism. I’d gladly fish with him again under better weather conditions.

  Great fishing

  Jon was outstanding. We caught our quota of coho within the first 10 minutes of fishing, then went on to jig for lingcod (of which we caught 3 sizeable ones) and assorted rockfish of which 5 were keepers. Highly recommended.

  Great Trip and a Bald Eagle!

  The weather wasnt the most cooperative and the seas were a but rough but we still came up with 3 Coho salmon, a chinook salmon, 2 rockfish and 6 crabs. Huge bonus was a bald eagle swooping down to grab a fish off of our boat. Saw otters and sea lions as well. My 7 year old and wife enjoyed the trip. Jon worked hard to make it all happen - he was great!

  Amazing trip with Captain Jon

  My family had an amazing trip with Captain Jon! I fish extensively in San Diego and found Jon to be very knowledgeable, patient, and at the same time completely locked in and worked hard to get us on the fish and help us spot wildlife. We caught a Chinook Salmon, several halibut, and some crab as well. I would not hesitate to book a fishing trip with Captain Jon.
