Had a great time with Captain Chris on a 4 hour trip with my 9 year old son. Captain Chris was very knowledgeable about the different species of fish and how to catch them. He was also very helpful with my son which allowed me to catch many fish myself. We felt very safe and comfortable on the ocean. My son really enjoyed this trip and has already asked to come back next year. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to book a charter with or without kids.

We had high winds and choppy waters but went out anyway to see what we could find. Caught many ‘croaker’s, which I’d never heard of so that was fun. We decided to take it out to the big water, bumpy ride but the scenery was beautiful so we didn’t mind the boat ride. We were able to catch a bigger fish, a Blue fish I believe, and that was it. Cpt. Chris was able to put us on a lot of fish. Unfortunately, hooking up proved to be a touch difficult for us. We are accustomed to river or lake fishing so it’s a little bit different. Cpt. Chris is very knowledgeable and patient. He worked with my eight year old daughter just like he was family.   Took a four hour tour. Talked with captian night before to figure out a game plan for next day.  Captian gave several options.  Due to weather he came up with an another plan.     Best part of trip was the Captian was making decisions on conditions and where the fish were .  We found a school of Trigger fish and some Sea Bass.  Caught 15 fish in all.     First mate was also excellent. Very helpful getting lines in water fast to catch more fish.

First of all, Captain Chris and his first-mare son are very good people. It was like fishing with old friends. I told Chris initially that I wanted to wreck fish and that is exactly what we did. He had us on fish the entire day. We had a blast with sea bass and trigger fish and had several drag screaming encounters with shovel head sharks. Back at the dock, Chris cleaned the fish and we took home some very high quality seafood. I would recommend Chris to anyone who enjoys hands-on fishing.
