- I live on a small island off the Galway coast on the west coast of Ireland, where the sea has always been at the heart of my life. With over 30 years of experience as a commercial fisherman, I've spent a lifetime on, in, and beside the water. Fishing isn't just my livelihood — it's my passion, and nothing would give me greater pleasure than sharing that passion and getting as many people as possible well and truly hooked!
- Techniques
- We usually fish reefs and ledges around the islands for Mackerel, Pollock, Ling and cod. We target Blue Shark, Porbeagle Shark in the deep waters outside the islands and Tope, a bottom feeding shark found in Galway bay.
