    Half Day – Reef Fishing (AM) • 12 adults

    We had a fantastic day celebrating our boy's 16th Birthday. (Party of 12) The crew Steve and Jas were excellent with the lads, teaching them the basics and being patient with the few tangles we had. A successful day with 30 fish taken home for the BBQ. Thanks for a great day guys. !!!!

    Epic 30th!

    Half Day – Reef Fishing (PM) • 12 adults

    Ravi and Michael were super legendary guides! My friends and i went out for my 30th and Ravi and Michael really heightened the experience for all of us! Both of them also showed me (the bday gal) some great elements of fishing and made me feel totally at ease and not like a lost pup in a male dominated area! Ravi also contacted me a number of times beforehand to give me updates on conditions etc and honestly that was great because i didnt have to prompt it and it was great because i got to gage what Ravi was like! Both of them are chill legends that didnt feel pompous and it felt like a really easy day with easy as people! both keen for a laugh and Michael even took over as dj which was legendary! They helped create a great, stressfree 30th! Id highly recommend! Definitely feel more equipped as a fisher now!

    Great bucks trip

    We had Steve as the captain and Michael first hand. Very knowledgeable and made the trip good fun. Caught a lot of fish. Would strongly recommend.

    boat (Avalon) was on time for pick up,good bait unlike other charters, fishing gear was good and weather was perfect. well done. I would suggest communication could be improved. Other than that we had a great time and enjoyed the experience.

    Our work team booked in a fishing trip and we were not let down! It was such a good day had by all with everyone catching fish and the hospitality of the captain and deck hand was brilliant! Highly recommend.

    Had a great afternoon fishing on the Mystery Bay! Huge compliments to Captain Loyd and deckhand Matthew — both were friendly, helpful, and made the trip a lot of fun. They really knew what they were doing, and pretty much everyone on board caught fish. The crew kept things relaxed and enjoyable the whole time. Would definitely recommend this trip and would happily go again.

    Really had a great time on the Mahi-Mahi II. The crew was very accommodating and helped us with our fishing needs. Really enjoyed. Even got a lure from Sparrow for my son which he really appreciated.

    Ravi was a fantastic skipper. He made sure we had a great day. The boat is in great condition, plenty of space, good tackle. Would highly recommend!!

    Booked my more family friendly bucks with Ravi and his crew, and had a great time overall. The water was a little choppy once we went out of the heads, which got a few (most people) sick, but Ravi then captained us to a nice little spot where we had a BBQ and the boys went for a swim. Overall great experience, and we caught about 25 fish too! (Threw about 15 back being too small)

What's biting with Mystery Bay: Reef Fishing in Sydney

This can be a really fun time to fish. Tailor and Salmon are reacting better and better to surface lures in the Harbour. Look for Kingfish over the local reefs. This month is full of surprises - you never quite know what you'll catch!
