Really enjoy people, family and friends and making them feel like they belong on the water.

Afternoon Trip • 4 adults • 1 childReally fun afternoon and early evening on Lake Whitney with Captain Guy. They know the lake and where the fish are, work really hard to get you to them, and have a lot of great gear. Particularly appreciated how they engaged with my 12 year-old grandson about the Garmin gear they were using, and helped him on his catches. We look forward to another chance to do it with them again.

5 Hour Trip (AM) • 6 adults • 3 childrenWe had a cold windy day, but had the best time ever. The whole family was on the boat and we caught plenty of fish. What the booking site doesn’t tell you is that the boat is equipped with great technology so they can find the fish more easily; this increases your chances of a catch. They don’t always bite I’m sure but today we were lucky. Guy and Gary were fabulous with the kids, and us!

5 Hour Trip (AM) • 4 adultsWe had a few hour delay due to the bad weather, so we started late. Our expectations were down because of the storm, and we did manage to catch a couple of fish. They were great for the kids, exactly what they wanted. Captain Guy and Gary were great. They tried their hardest to find fish, but to no avail. Didnt matter we still enjoyed boating all over the lake. They found us a cove where we could do some swimming, so it was a great time. Thanks Guy and Gary.

What a day

Wow don't know where to start. My nephew Jason phoned me early in the week and wanted to schedule a fishing trip. He explained it was for his two friends Justin and Mathew from West. He said that Justin wanted to take his buddy out fishing before he was to have an operation.
It was the most inspiring experience I've ever had. Matt reeled numerous fish, catching the biggest ones of the day. Just saying thank you Justin and Jason for giving me a chance to be a part of something so extraordinary and blessed in knowing Matt had a great day of fishing. Driving home today I thanked God for this day. I know I made the right decision to become a fishing guide. It was something I will take to my grave and I cant wait to be able to help someone else that has needs that feeling. I really got to know Matt today and he is a special person. Prayers for you my friend and God be with you.

Ran into a big one

First fish of the day. Large 34 inch Striper hit a perch this morning and the fight was on. My angler was cool under the circumstances and reeled this toad in.

Largest fish I've ever hooked

Saturday I hung up with the largest Striper I've ever hooked. She ripped out 80 feet of line before I got her tuned. Handed the pole over to Steve my customer (very good angler). He proceeded to bring the beast in. She came up about 70 feet out and gave us a look then went down again.
This all started right off the river channel and 20 minutes later it was over. She had found a tree about 30 feet down and we lost her. Been fishing all of my life and this goes down to one of my most exciting events for me. Thank you Steve for being part of it. This is the time of year to get hooked up with a chunk. Schedule a date and lets get going.

Biggest fish this year over 35 inches

Went out scouting Friday to look for large fish and I found them
Caught several larger fish and then the big hog hit my umbrella
Lake Whitney water temperature has dropped in the 70's turning on the big bite
