Captain mitch made us feel very comfortable and allowed us to fish the way that made us comfortable. He knew where the fish are and knew what they wanted to eat. My dad and I went on a trip of a lifetime with Captain Mitch! Sea Trout, Redfish and lots of good fellowship with Captain Mitch on a beautiful morning in Saint Joseph Bay. Captain Mitch makes the adventure fun and historical. We learned some great history of the area from him as we waited for the ‘big un’s’ to tug on our fishing poles….and boy, did they! Captain Mitch will put you on top of the fish 🐟. We can’t wait to come back to the best fishing charter in Port St. Joe!

First cast we got a bite. Second cast…17” trout in the boat.  We caught numerous fish and maxed out on trout and with the biggest being 24 inches!  Captain Mitch was quick at getting the fish off the line, picking out the right bait, and repairing lines; he definitely maximized the amount of time with lines in the sea. It was a nice surprise that he cleaned the fish for us too.

We had a wonderful time today! Mitch was a great captain and fisherman expert. He gave us a lot of history on the area as he was born and raised in Port St. Joe. He was very helpful and patient with the bait and our catches. He was knowledgeable about the marine life that we saw and caught. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend.

My wife and I took our 8 year old daughter on her first fishing trip. Mitch is great with kids and even in the heat of mid July, we kept trout, flounder, and a slot red.  We also caught a myriad of non target species and saw a bunch of sea turtles and a tarpon.  Really great time!  Thanks Mitch!
