Captain Clarence and his son Joshua helped make a memorable day for my wife and son as a combined birthday present for the two of them.
It was an incredibly cold day a the fishing wasn’t hot as a result, but they worked diligently to find the fish and they each caught more than a handful.

We were lucky he had an opening as we had another charter booked and when I messaged captain to confirm address he stated oh I am cancelling.  No notice nothing!  I scrambled to find another charter with less then 24 hours and by the grace of God and good fortune found Josh and what a day charters!
  The trip was awesome!  We have been on charters in 4 different states and never have we had someone try so hard to make sure we were catching some keepers!  By the end of the trip it felt like we were hanging out on our friends fishing boat having a blast!  Josh was great with my son and we had a great time and he put us on many fish and it was a slow day as other charters we passed said they were barely catching anything !
    We caught a bunch and kept 10 to have Cooked up!

I was always curious about the name of this charter company. After spending time on the water with Captain Josh, the name of his charter definitely fits the bill. “What A Day” we had fishing with Captain Josh.

He was waiting for us on the dock when we pulled up. I was on a 4 hour trip starting at 7:00 am with my father-in-law and two 20 year old sons. He provided sodas, water and even sunscreen. (Ours fell out of our bag in the car but he was prepared even for that).

Captain Josh gave us a run down of what his plans were at the beginning and off we went. During our trip we caught, Red Drum, Lady fish, Pompano, Sheepshead, Catfish, and even a few Ugly fish for good measure. Oh, and a stingray as well.

We had good conversation and learned about, and a little something about each of the fish we caught. It was nice to learn about Captain Josh, his background, his passion for fishing and how he found his love of the sport of fishing with his dad growing up.

It was a hot day but we caught some fish, shared stories, and for sure found where we plan on coming back to when we return.

Captain Clarence and Captain Josh are the BEST!! They know all the good fishing spots and you catch fish!! They are so knowledgeable, professional, kind,  caring, and respectful, you’ll never book with anyone else again!! Their boat and equipment is TOP NOTCH and they are GREAT teachers for beginners like me!! I can’t say enough good things about them!  BOOK TODAY YOU WON’T BE SORRY!!!

Spending a day on the water with Captain Josh has become our family tradition when visiting Florida for our Christmas break. We always catch a ton of fish.  My boys already started planning our next trip with him.
