- I started fishing the big lake in the late 70's with my father. By the early 80's we both aquired our coast guard license allowing us to fish for hire. We both did 100's of charters thru the mid 90's at which time he retired due to health reasons and i took a few years offf due to work obligations. I kept fishing for fun until I restarted doing charters again around 2006 and have been at it since. We feel we do our best to provide everyone with the best experience on the big lake around our area. We treat each group as we would our own friends and family and not just another trip or number. This is why we only do one trip per day so we have plenty of time afterwwards for pictures, proper cleaning and packaging of fish, and socializing which we consider part of the day instead of rushing you off to make room for the next group.
