Slow trolling, catching 2 snapper and 1 barracuda!

We went out for 2 hours to fish inside the reef in crystal clear waters, we were able to capture 3 barracudas. Kids are very good first time saltwater fishermen!

3 hrs bottom fishing!

3 hours of bottom fishing at 150 feet, 10 yellow eye red snappers! and a couple that the sharks stole from us! celebrating the birthday of our friend from the USA!

We had messaged ahead of the trip to optimize for mahi leaving time for some bottom fishing. Capt and crew were well prepared with equipment and bait and knew where to go. We quickly picked up our first mahi and then hooked up with another and a barracuda. After the trolling action died out we picked up 3 red snappers. Capt cleaned the fish and walked them over to a small beach restaurant that grilled the mahi and fried the snapper to perfection.

We had messaged ahead of the trip to optimize for mahi leaving time for some bottom fishing. Capt and crew were well prepared...

We came to Costa Maya on a cruise, but wanted to try fishing. La Diosa Del Mar was a great choice. They had a can waiting to take us to the boat where we were greeted by the captain and a very nice young lady. They explained that it was windy and not great fishing weather. Captain and first mate were very good. I would recommend them. We trolled and caught 3 barracudas. Well worth the money. Not related to fishing booker, cab drivers ripped us off on cab fare. Should have been 4 dollars told us new rates today 5 dollars a person.

We had a great day! The conditions were rough the day we where there, but Ceaser and Axel worked hard to help us get a barracuda. We also mentioned we wanted to see a sea turtle while snorkeling. Ceasar found us one. We had a great time.

We had an awesome time out on the water! And our 5 year old daughter had a great day. We caught 1 barracuda and 2 red snappers. After fishing the restaurant cooked our catch for us and we had some amazing tacos. Highly recommend! They were wonderful.
