  Incredible Father/Son Trip

  Booked a day trip as an unexpected extension of our family plans. Capt. Doug was absolutely phenomenal - easy to talk to, patient, and knowledgeable. We had a great day of fishing!! It was just me and my 9 year old son, and it was such a fun day. Removing the fluff of a normal fishing story, we honestly lost count after 30 fish. There was a hot bite we got into where from cast to trout in the boat was under 20 seconds. Such a great day, and I couldnt recommend Capt. Doug enough!! We will definitely be back.

  Doug was very patient with my buddy showing him how to cast the rods he didnt beat around the bush out us on fish immediately kept moving us around when it slowed down communicated with us kept us engaged the whole time had good conversation and an even better time!!! Will definitely be back and refer him to my other friends!!!

  Great trip with a phenomenal guide!

  Fishing with Captain Doug was nothing short of a great day. My wife and I have fished with many guides in multiple states and Doug was by far the best! We were provided with knowledge of the water we were in, the migration patterns of fish, and why they were eating particular lures and bait at that time of the year. Doug has an awesome boat, he is a great driver (silky smooth), and he knows exactly where the fish are. As a fairly seasoned fisherman, he still taught me a lot in a short amount of time and worked to make my wife look like a pro in no time. We caught fish right away and that continued the entire afternoon. Capt Doug was so laid back, polite, professional and was ready and willing to help and answer any questions we had all day! We will be back!

  Got my buddy from Arizona down to Corpus Christi for a fishing trip 6/3. Winds were howling, Capt Doug tried everything possible to get us to switch dates, but we didn't have any flexibility. He fought the wind and put us on fish. Only 1 keeper, and he was embarrassed for a poor outing; however, the quality of the trip more than compensated for the lack of fish on ice. If you want a guide who will diligently toil to provide the best outcome, look no further than Capt. Doug!
