3/4 day spring trip!

Grear day on the water fishing with Shane and his buddies. No live bait but scrached off reds and trout with platic and fresh dead shrimp! The water temperature is just right and the sun is out! Soring fishing is in full swing. The boats iced down, rod and reels are ready!

Trout bite is on fire

This crew only wanted to target trout. They have had success catching redfish and wanted to learn how to be more successful catching trout on the lake. We set out with live bait and quickly boated our limit by 9:30am Maclaine’s son helped with the net!

Captain Tanner was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and pleasant making it a wonderful day for fishing. He moved the boat around each time the fishing bite slowed down and explained what structure was under the water at each stop. Landed multiple bull reds, slot reds, trout and black drum. We are definitely, coming back

My family and I came down to Louisiana from Wisconsin to get the full experience! Dominique made the trip awesome and definitely unforgettable. He took his time with the kids to teach them how to fish. Even though the fish weren’t biting like crazy, he still made our trip a success! We will definitely be coming back!

Great family bearing gifts all the way from Wisconsin. WI cheese and brats 10/10 ⭐️’s… Harvest Lodge doesn’t always catch all the fish but we always give 100 % to have a successful trip out on the lake and back waters. I’ll start with how glad I was to take out so well behaved youth interested in the out doors and having a good time no matter the conditions. Our Captain was Mr Dominique Duplechen. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on our fishing trip. My son and I had a lot fun while fishing with Harvest Lodge chart! We caught plenty fish and made memories for years to come! We also found out fish like zydeco music lol!!!

Awesome time fishing. Got ~3 Dozen fish combined night dock fishing at the lodge and full next day on boat. Lodging was excellent with lots of amenities. Best was huge lighted pier with abundant reds and black drum. Grandson caught bill red and big ugly off dock. Captain knows the waters and techniques that work. 2 dozen keepers out of boat. Highly recommended. Dave Johnson
