The team was really fun and kindly with us, they come to take us at our resort even if it was not on the initial way, the know how to take some good fish even if the weather was bad ! Very cool and talkative, we spend a great time and get a beautiful Tuna with trolley, then we go to bottom fishing and take maybe 10 good size fish like little grouper or very little tuna, we break our line on a shark too, I really recommend, about the fishing trip, the Crew team, and their experience to go sport... Very good trip. Marc picked me up from pier in front of my hotel (L’escale Marina) and we were fishing shortly thereafter. Nice new boat. Good tackle. Marc and mate Zayn worked hard to find and catch the fish. Would definitely fish w these guys again. Also set me up with a good private tour of Mahe for the following day.

I always watch captains and what they do, as I also own boats. Captain had very few spots on charts . Was watching the sounder and it was barley picking up the bottom as it had a pour transducer. Ground was very average and didn’t show fish. But we still fished there.and only got 2 bites and 2 undersized cods. Trawling for sail fish with out proper teasers is lowering your chances of hooking up. if you’re not catching with those baby skirts maybe mix it up with other lures. But I’m not... More

Hi Mr Jumeau, very sorry about your experience with us. We try our best to give our clients what they want and most importantly, enjoy themselves. Unfortunately it doesn’t always turn out the way we expect it to. You wrote to me saying you would love to catch a sail fish after you booked the trip. My target was that. After 45min of trolling you decided to stop and go for bottom. We were using a bird teaser together with an ilander, a separate strip bait ilander, deep diver and a skirted lure. It was an inshore trip so using big game lures and bigger bird teasers wont strike the fish expected in shore.
I had brought minimum equipments for bottom because it was only a 4 hour trip and prepared mostly for trolling.
The brown spotted groupers are the regular size caught. They actually don’t grow much bigger.
Im sorry again for the disappointment.
