Born in west central Pennsylvania the water has always called my name. I started fishing as soon as I could walk and most other outdoor sports and activities soon after. I started my boating career at the age of 10 when my Father taught me the ropes of fishing. As a child, my grandparents used to take me down South throughout the years when we befriended a charter boat captain in Florida who made it a point to teach me everything he could about the game. After that learning experience, I began my own journey around Myrtle Beach, just as I once learned the freshwater fishing in Pennsylvania and saltwater fishing in Florida. It didn't take me long to start figuring out the wheres, hows, and whys in Myrtle Beach that let me catch my fair share of fish. I've always been a fast learner and my attention to detail helps tremendously with consistently getting us on the fish. I've spent and still spend countless hours researching and studying fish and their specific habits. This has helped me learn many great fishing areas quickly and efficiently. After the loss of my father and grandfather, who instilled the love of fishing in me, I decided to finally go for it and start Nauti Buoy Fishing Charters to share this love. While I may seem young for the job, I can offer you an unforgettable experience aboard the Nauti Buoy as we go after nearshore and offshore varieties of fish. I'm not afraid to teach you this game just as I was taught by a captain many years ago.

    4 Hour Morning - Shark Fishing • 3 adults • 1 child

    Captain Taylor gave us an absolutely fantastic shark fishing excursion!! 🦈🎣 He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and so great with the kids. He made sure we were comfortable, involved, and had a chance to enjoy the experience. Most importantly, he put us right on fish the moment we dropped our lines in the water—we had an amazing time! You can tell Captain Taylor genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in giving his guests a memorable trip. If you’re looking for a fishing excursion,  We highly recommend Captain Taylor, we will definitely be booking with him again!

    Taylor and Will excellent team funfilled trip!

    10 Hour Trip – Offshore • 5 adults

    went out for a 10 hour trip, caught Mahi, Jack, B-liner, Pink Porgy, Grunt, Strawberry Snapper, Black Bass, trigger fish and a few randoms i cannot recall. beautiful weather and fantastic team on Nauti Buoy’s Nauti Girl. Captain Taylor let us listen to music on a bluetooth speaker onboard providing some great inspitation to slay some fish. The time to get to fishing took 3 hours to get 45 miles out to fishing ground that is the only critical thing that i would change however, it is beyond the crews control. overall great trip with a great crew.

    4 Hour Morning - Shark Fishing • 3 adults

    good dude, he made it a good time. he had us on fish most of the day and when we werent catching anything he stayed moving to get us back on them. he cut up the fish for us, made sure there was no bones or skin on the fillets and gave us tips on how to cook everything. definitely recommend him to anyone new to fishing or experienced fishers he keeps it fun the whole time and doesnt mind helping when needed. we will be back again.

    Nice guy, this Taylor. really nice time. caught a variety of fish with excellent attention to detail. nice 39 foot boat showed its absolute value by making a rougher day a lot smoother. its worth the extra confidence that you can still make the special trip possible. very laid back fun experience. excellent care of our catch aferwards. still owe you a beer, amigo. would gladly do again.

    Night Shark Fishing • 2 adults

    First time for me and my 17 year old son doing any sort of fishing charter. we had an absolute blast doing the night shark fishing tour with these guys. Caught some cool sharks and had an increidble time overall. Taylor and Willy were awesome hosts and honestly, were a big reason why we enjoyed it as much as we did! We’ll be back for sure!
