es ist dieser eine Moment…der Moment wo man einfach zur richtigen zeit am richtigen ort ist…ich bin diesen ausflug abgetreten um mir meinen traum zu erfüllen, meinen traum, endlich einen Thunfisch zu fanden.. das ich am ende des tages eine. sailfish fang, ist mir nicht mal in den sinn gekommenen..das ist ein fisch fürs leben…und ich bin unfassbare dankbar **hidden content** war ein hammer **hidden content** wurde immer dafür gesorgt das irgendwie fisch am haken hing, eine unfassbar coole Crew..vielen dank an nader und mario dass ich das erleben durfte. Ich war einen Tag mit Nadar und seinem Crewman unterwegs und es war gigantisch. Ich hatte bereits einige Big Game Ausfahrten rund um den Globus aber diese war mit Abstand die Beste. Die Crew war hochmotiviert und selbst nachdem die gebuchten 9 Stunden längst rum waren und wir kurz vor dem Hafen noch einen raubenden Schwarm Skipjacks entdeckten, wurde hier nochmal angegriffen. Das Equipment ist sehr hochwertig und in gutem Zustand. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Buchung des Deep Drop Ausflugs. Hier konnten wir aus 600m mehrere Kalamaris überlisten und haben einen Schwertfisch leider verloren. Macht weiter so Mario und Nadar, ihr seid spitze 👍👍👍👍

Done a full day with my 14 year old son. In communication for a few days before trip as we werent sure if weather was going to allow fishing. Worked out good on the day. Captain arranged a pickup from our hotel in makadi bay. Proffesional set up and the boat was very modern and excellent condition. Done some trawling 1st with no luck. Then caught plenty grouper and i think a triggerfish. Also caught a huge moray eel which was amazing to see. Finished the day with more trawling and caught 2 slapjacks- great action and we even seen a group of dolphins who played with us in front of the boat- i could almost touch with my hands within a half metre!  Snacks and drinks provided all day. Captain Shehap and mate Mahmoud were lovely friendly welcoming people with good humour and they worked all day. Would recommend for a good day fishing. Thank you.

Mario our skipper was great from the off… keeping in contact with me before we even arrived in Hurghada,  the weather/wind didn’t look great 😐 and the Egyptian government hat put a stop to the boats going out, so our original date to go out and fish was moved on later in our holiday which went faultlesly.

Mario organised our transport to get to the marina at Safaga where we departed for a days fishing.

There were four of us on board, all seasoned anglers in the UK…. Mario and his crewman got to work straight away putting a couple of trolling rods out as we headed towards the deeper fishing grounds. 🐟🐟

Bam….20 or so mins later we got our first take, up first was Mark so after a spirited fight in came our first fish, a Bonito and Marks first ever….....

Next up…. it was my Lads go after a lovely initial run my lad was onto his first Red Sea fish… but alas halfway through the fight the fish came off, (Gutted for him) but onwards we trolled for another 20 mins.

We arrived at the skippers chosen mark, the rods were ready for the first anticipated drop, from the off, bites came thick and fast for all of us catching some beautifully coloured fish, in the shape of Groupers, snappers, Goatfish etc.

A few hours passed and we’d all caught plenty of fish and Mario asked if we’d like to go deep drop fishing for some humongous squid 🐙 😀 

YES PLEASE….

Off we motored towards the deeper water when Mario got out the Electric reels (which you need in very deep water 750m to 1000m deep)

The baited Squid jigs were sent to the abyss, 20 mins later the baits touched down, reels into gear and bang 🐙 🦑
SQUID ON!!!!
WOW, the Electric reels were brilliant in deep water and made short work of retreaving the massive squid from 700+meters deep but Mario had a trick or two up his sleeve, we set up squid jigs on smaller rods at 40-50 meters deep as other squid followed the hooked ones to the boats frequently attacking them, then Bam… My lad had a humongous squid hook itself on his lighter squid rig… wow what a fight, after a few more drops into the abyss and more giant Squids followed I hooked one Nearly a meter long and got it to the boat.
Meanwhile the deckhand had been cleaning the ink sacs out of the the 6 of 7 we had previously caught….. The Blue azure sea had turned a thick black slick in the tide with all the juices from the squid.

Then we encountered one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen in all of my 35+ years of angling.
A Whitetip Oceanic Shark put in an appearance in full glory, Ramoras and the lot swimming with it (W.O.W.) Is all i can say….. It just circled the boat over and over, ot was just amazing to see, then out of the blue,  shoals of Mahi-Mahi’s came darting about, quick change of tactics saw us catch a couple of them, which the shark 🦈 took a liking too 😀 😳  We managed to avoid the unwanted attacks on our quarry fish from the Shark (It was like a David Attenborough film) so we tackled up and moved on, as not to disturb the Shark.

We moved on a few miles and decided on the last hour bait fishing for more coloured groupers etc and finished with a few nice ones…... then a short trolling session back to the harbour that didn’t result in anything else….......

What a day the four of us had as mates and I think we made a new ones in Mario and his deckhand.

Totally knackered and a bit overcooked under the Egyptian sun 🚤🚤 🌞🌞🌞
We called it a day….

Mario kept us fed and watered all day with Soft drinks, Water, Sandwiches, Fruit and Snacks all included in the price, which was very good £££......

Мы в восторге! Рыбалка была насыщенная, отличные снасти, хорошее новое судно. Если нужен трансфер, с радостью его вам организуют. Марио знает самые лучшие рыбные места. Угощали закусками, водой, колой, гуавой,  финиками. Мы уже под конец сами сказали, что домой хотим, такое ощущение, что если бы молчали, нас так и до ночи возили))) Очень понравилось👍 Марио спасибо большое!
