The charter fishing trip from booking to the yummy trout on our plates was excellent. The captain is all about finding and getting you into some action, which was fast and furious when it came. We ended up catching numerous decent sized trout while also losing a few. Any fish caught will be cleaned and gutted. Options are to get them smoked, which may take a couple of days from the Butchery or to take your fish to a local restaurant for it to be cooked. We went with taking our cleaned fish to the Crafty Trout Brewery, where they charge $25 per fish, but provided (3) different options for it to be prepared. All in all, a great trip. Will recommend to family and friends. Thanks again.

Captain Nick made sure we had a wonderful trip. My second trip out with him and once again we were onto the fish within 30min! Caught some great rainbow trout. Everything was taken care of on what was a fabulous morning of fishing on Beautiful lake Taupo.

Nick was full of knowledge and a pleasure to be on the boat with. We both had a lovely afternoon and caught 3 rainbow trout. Nick then advised us where to take the trout to be cooked for tonight‘s dinner, and it was so delicious! 10/10!!! Thank you for a wonderful day.
