We recently went on a trout fishing charter in Taupo with Nick, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had the first bites seconds after dipping the lure into the water. Great day and lovely captain. I csn recommend it to everyone! We got a lot of beautiful trout.

We had a great trip this morning with Captain Nick!  Even though the weather was a bit gloomy.  Caught several fish and released, except for one big one we took to The Crafty Trout at Nick’s recommendation.  They prepared it for our lunch and it was delicious.  Highly recommend!

Nick was delightful and perfect host.  Rods were ready and spares, in case changes were needed and no time was wasted. Good fish finder and he taught us how to use it. This added to the experience. The best part is Nick has a clean lovely cabin with a DOOR.  This might not seem important but when its pouring with rain and freezing.  It is. Spend the extra money and get some comfort.  We caught 9 trouts and had a great time.

We had a fantastic trip out with Captain Nick. Everything we were hoping for and then some. Perfect spot selected, great instructions to the kids and help given. Easy chat and three beaut fish to take home. Definitely keen to go out again!
