What a wonderful way to spend a couple of holiday hours on the lake with my granddaughter. She caught her first rainbow trout within minutes of the lines going down and she was so delighted. Our skipper, Nick, knew where to go and how to get the rainbows to bite. We caught quite a few between us, returning the smaller ones so they can grow bigger, but we still went home with a few decent feeds in the bin. The skipper, Nick, met us at the appointed time and place. There was a mechanical problem with the boat so Nick kindly offered to take us on a much larger boat at the same price. He knows the lake intimately and we had a very successful days fishing - 10 trout in 2 hours.
