Although the weather was terrible with 5’ swells Captain Zane and mate Izzy worked their tails off to put us on fish… didn’t end up catching our limits but we all did catch fish, in spite of the weather conditions! Highly recommend Homer fishing addiction with captain Zane Millet!

Had a great time with Capt. Zane and Chuck.  Boat was clean, accommodating for 5 and has a nice clean head.  Started out with a little over an hour choppy ride out for the Halibut.  Had good action.  Each person limited with Halibut and we also caught shark, cod, pollock and a stingray that absolutely wore me out.  We then moved back closer to shore to try for King Salmon but there was no action.  Many boats in the area and none of them were netting anything.  So the King just weren’t... This was a great experience that I would totally recommend to others. My girlfriend and I met Captain Zane and deck hand Izzy at the dock, and we went to pick up 4 others at a boat-access-only resort not far away. We stopped and caught some smaller halibut at about 110’ depth then went out to the middle along a trench and caught our over-28’s. Everyone on the boat caught their limit. My husband and I enjoyed our fishing trip with Fishing Addiction. Captain Zane was friendly and professional. We enjoyed talking to him and his first mate. They led us to multiple locations with fish so everyone in our group maxed out on Halibut. The salmon fishing wasn’t quite as successful for the group but we reeled in a few. Unfortunately, Captain Zane was sick the day we were scheduled to fish, but he found us a replacement Captain (Jake) for us and made it all seamless! Jake did a great job getting us out to multiple spots to get our limits of Halibut and even more Cod than our first day fishing!
