Captain Gary 'Diesel' Stanford, the owner and co-founder, started fishing Lake Buchanan at age nine. After surviving cancer at age 35, Captain Diesel and his young family decided to embark on an adventurous lifestyle focused on fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.     Great guide for kiddos!

    Half Day Trip 1-3 People • 5 adults • 2 children

    Went out fishing for my 11yo daughter's birthday, and our guide was awesome with them. Helped them learn how to jig, taught them about the fish we'd catch, and encouraged them to hold the fish and release them safely. 10 out of 10.

    Perfect fall fishing!!

    Gary is a great guide for any age. I'm retired and I was meeting my possible new brother inlaw for the first time and a little nervous. Gary put everyone at ease. It was a beautiful sun rise with a slight breeze We caught fish all morning. Gary was very enthusiastic about putting us on the fish. He has great personality. Were going back soon...

    Gary did a heck of a job putting us on the fish. He was also very patient with 2 4th graders. We would have caught more fish had the kids listened a bit better!
