Man, oh, man, Victor and all his crew are excellent. They went way way out of their way to take care of things. It's an incredible experience being on the Amazon and the only place in memory from many world travels, besides home in Montana, where you can drink the tap water...as it should be. Hope to come back during high season, oh, and the delicious fish served at the table, now that's a catch!

Fishing In The Amazon! on August 19, 2023 • 1 adult
Overall a good experience. Communication with owner Victor was easy. He did not join the boat trip cos his kids were sick at home. Marco came to pick me up at the hotel, took me to the harbour for breakfast and then to the boat. George and Bruce were on the boat with me during the whole trip. George did not speak English but he's an excellent fisherman and took me to all the right places, definitely knowledgeable about where to fish. Bruce was the guide who spoke English quite well and he helped to translate during the trip. He knew alot about Manaus and the animals in the Amazon region, very interesting. We had lunch at a floating restaurant, buffet style and lots of variety of foods to choose from. George and I caught about 15 fish during the day and I had to massive fish on the line which unfortunately came off at some point but it was a great experience to fish here. At the end of the day Marco came to pick me up (he also brought me to the boat) and we had dinner together at one of the best restaurants in the city. This trip is quite expensive but overall worth it and I would do it again!

Our guide stayed with us throughout the three days. He is very good at fishing, casting and grilling. We had an impressive three days. We caught some big stuff and saw a lot of amazing creatures in the Amazon rainforest. It's so exciting.
