    Fishing with Eric

    4 Hour Trip - Fishing (AM) • 4 adults • 1 child

    Did a 4 hr inshore trip. Eric was excellent. He flexed his schedule around favorable wind conditions. Put us on the fish. Did a great job. We had two Goliath groupers break our lines. Really had a great day. Thanks Cpt Eric!

    Best Captain on Boatsetter

    4 Hour Trip - Fishing (AM) • 6 adults

    Capt Eric accommodated myself and 5 others with ease all day. He made sure our lines were in the water at all times and fully baited, even trying different bait on different rods to try and catch a bunch of different fish. This day was a bit slow but that wasn’t Captain Eric’s fault as he took us to a bunch of different spots trying to make up for the slow day. Eventually he decided since the fish weren’t biting that the sharks might. AND BOY DID THEY. We fought an 8ft nurse shark for close to 45 minutes! Awesome experience and we even got a to stay out past our original return time. Will definitely be back!

    Half Day with Captain Eric

    From start to finish everything was excellent. Eric took us to several different fishing spots. We had success at all of them. We caught around 6-7 different species of fish. My girlfriend caught a puffer fish and it made her day. Eric is kind, knowledgeable, and very fun. Highly recommend!

    Eric is by far one of the best guides in western Florida. He is a very intuitive angler and knows where to look for fish. You could call it luck, but I think it had more to do with his experience. We nailed down at least 10 Snook, as well as a few other species. In addition to his knowledge, he has the right demeanor, sense of humor and patience. No matter what your experience level is as an angler, Reelentless is the way to go!

    Discovered Reelentless Pursuit from this site. Our family could not have been more pleased. Eric’s communication was fast and thorough. We had six people, four adults and two children. All of us fished comfortably and Eric was an expert at managing the two children’s set ups while also handling the boat and the fish we kept catching. He took us to three spots, two were in the bay and one was a few miles off the coast. At every spot we caught fish. He also taught us the correct technique for setting the hook as the snappers were sneaky at nipping at our shrimp. Eric is a very nice gentleman who cares about his clients catching fish and having a good experience. He does not price gouge. In fact our time did not start until our fishing line to the water. I have used two other guys in the past for various types of fishing. They do not compare to this experience. Eric was the best by far. He has extensive knowledge of the area and the fishery. I am seriously considering coming back to Sanibel Island just to do a fly fishing trip with him. We were 100% satisfied with the entire experience with Eric. Some of the fish we caught included; Red fish Snapper, two different types Grouper, two different types Sea trout Blue runners Jacks Squirrel fish Lizard fish

    Great experience! Captain Eric was so great with the kids. Our most reluctant Fisher even said fishing is kinda fun!!! Very patient and helpful. Even came to our resort marina to pick us up. Fish weren’t biting great but we caught enough for supper:). Thanks again for a great day out in the water.

What's biting with Reelentless Pursuit Charters LLC in Fort Myers

The Redfish spawn continues, with excellent fishing available. Temperatures gradually start to drop, remaining extremely comfortable for fish and anglers. Big Trout start to show up on the flats and the Snook are getting fat.

Sanibel / Captiva / Fort Myers bite pick

As most know, our area in SWFL was hit with a nasty redtide that made national news. We are, however, having very good days out on the water recently as yesterday, as the red time seems to be subsiding. Hipefully it's stays in the rear view mirror, as these nest few months are some of the Best for seasonal change migratory fish and on-the-water, 1st hand experience, shows it's gonna live up to that again this fall.
