Good experience with Capt Jay. Very knowledgeable about what’s biting and where! Highly recommend. 

Four hour morning trip

Had lots of fun and caught specs and flounder. Great trip and would recomend highly.

We caught several Bull Redfish. The experience was awesome. Redfish and trout all morning long. Captain Jay kept us busy catching on a day everyone said would not be a good day to fish.  We will definitely fish with Captain Jay again. Captain Jay is a fun captain to fish with. 

Awesome Red Fish

We had an awesome time with Captain Jay! He went above and beyond to put us on the fish and it definitely paid off—we caught redfish, speckled trout, and even a red snapper. He made the whole trip fun and relaxing, and we even got to see some cool beach sights along the way. Highly recommend booking a trip with him if you’re looking for a great fishing experience!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Jay 

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Jay. We hooked on a big Jack Crevalle with really light tackle and with Capt. Jay’s help and boat maneuvering skills we managed to get him in the boat. The bite was slow on edible fish(only got two) but we all caught something. We had to cut it short due to a storm but still had fun. 

Great time. 

Great fishing trip. We had 3 adults and 1 ten year old. Captain Jay put us right on some spotted trout. All over 3 lbs and one 5.5 pounder! Enough for a dinner for 8 and have leftovers. One of us caught a 19 lb red fish and has since been saddled with the nickname Johnny Red! Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Fishing with Jay 

Captain Jay had great communication the whole time. Worked with us on changing our time. Had some spots a short ride from the launch so we weren’t just riding the whole trip. Had my son and nephew with me and Captain Jay did a phenomenal job of teaching the kids to fish and getting them some catches lined up. Clean, newer boat and nice gear. 

Great, quick trip from Dauphin Island

Captain Jay put us on fish right away and we limited out on specks . We then hit some other spots for flounder and redfish. He truly wanted us to catch as many fish as possible .

August fishing trip

It's a new year, and a new round of fishing. Redfish, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout hint at a promising inshore fishing trip. Go out, and bring the limits back.

The weather might be blue, but you can still catch some fish inshore. Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum are feeding on the bait readily.

Sharks are emerging. Inshore, it's Black Drum, Redfish, and Spotted Seatrout. Out further, go trolling for Kingfish and Spanish Mackerel.

The spring marks the start of the prime fishing season. Inshore, and offshore, solid schools of fish. To find Cobia, find an object-they love hiding, and are strong fighters.

Amberjack are starting to bite. Head out, and you can also troll for an occasional King or Spanish Mackerel.

Dauphin Island dolphins peak - go trolling for Mahi Mahi. Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna are high in numbers, so the action takes place offshore. Further out, Amberjack are super hungry.

Everyone wants to fish for Snapper and Grouper! The season changes yearly, but the action stays sweet. Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Amberjack bite in the deep sea waters, so why not join a captain and go get them?

The summer heat is on! Inshore, Tarpon take the spotlight, but these rich inshore waters offer so much more. Sailfish, Tuna, Jack Crevally are all ready and biting.

Look for Spotted Seatrout. They have a strong bite, just like Redfish. You might not catch a bull, but can still make your move for a slot. Offshore, Tuna are biting.

The fall sets in, but the fish still bite. Red, Trout, Flounder, and some Pompano are in the game. East End jetties and inshore are the place to be. You can still find Kingfish.

Sheepshead are inshore, as are Spotted Seatrout. You can get Redfish. Further out, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna await. Hire a charter, and join the chase!

It's the end of the year, but nowhere near the end of fishing. Go great lengths and try to land Blackfin or Yellowfin Tuna as an early gift to you and yours. Inshore, Redfish and Spotted Seatrout still offer fun.
