Captain Nick really knows his fishing, and you can tell he takes joy in helping his guests have an amazing experience. One of the few native Floridians we’ve met, and he has fished these waters his whole life so knows great spots that aren’t crowded. He was super flexible with our booking and tailored a trip that including hitting our limit on seat trout (for dinner), along with fishing for Snook (caught a bunch of big ones), Redfish and Tarpon. We had a blast and even after catching a bunch of fish, Nick was determined to take us new places and help us catch even more.  Would highly recommend going out with Captain Nick and Grand Slam Charters!

I’ve had the privilege of fishing all over the world, and I can confidently say my experience with Captain Nick and Grand Slam Charters ranks near the top. We chartered a trip for clients, and despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, we had an absolutely incredible time. Captain Nick’s professionalism, communication, and preparation were second to none, ensuring that we maximized every minute on the water.

We had Nick as our Captain and he was absolutely awesome! He was so knowledgeable about everything from the fish to the tides. We learned so much! My husband, son and cousin were far more educated on fishing than I was, but Nick had a ton of patience with me since I was definitely a novice. We enjoyed the day so much! We will for sure be back next year and hopefully land the shark that got away!

My two sons and I did a charter with Captain Nick last week and it was fabulous!  Captain Nick worked hard to put us on some great fishing.  I really appreciated his knowledge and love of the area and the fish!  We had the right baits and some great spots to catch.  I also loved that he asked us questions at the beginning to see what we were most interested in getting out of our trip and personalized our experience.  We are avid fisherman but had little experience in Florida with this type of fishing.  Not only did we catch fish on the charter, we were able to learn enough to catch some fish on our own later on!  If you’re on the fence, go for it.  Highly recommended.
