There really aren’t enough accolades I can share about Captain Nick.  It had the potential to be a tough day - weather was iffy, forecast was worse.  Nick was prepared for EVERYTHING.  When the weather got more difficult, he found us a great spot under overpasses with the right bait for fishing.  When the weather was good, he put us in amazing spots with great bait to catch some choice snook, and what was telling was that he was disappointed in them.  Captain Nick is a true fisherman, a gentleman and I can’t wait to get back out with him again in April (bringing some other cousins this time) and July 2026.  Thank you so much bud

Captain Nick really knows his fishing, and you can tell he takes joy in helping his guests have an amazing experience. One of the few native Floridians we’ve met, and he has fished these waters his whole life so knows great spots that aren’t crowded. He was super flexible with our booking and tailored a trip that including hitting our limit on seat trout (for dinner), along with fishing for Snook (caught a bunch of big ones), Redfish and Tarpon. We had a blast and even after catching a bunch of fish, Nick was determined to take us new places and help us catch even more.  Would highly recommend going out with Captain Nick and Grand Slam Charters!

We had an amazing adventure with Captain Nick.  He was an extremely friendly person and very knowledgeable of the locations and fish. We had a four hour morning shark fishing trip.  Was totally worth every single penny.  Seven sharks were caught!  We also threw in lines a few more times before we were done and caught a massive snook, and another large fish.  Captain Nick also showed us how to properly clean a black tip shark.  Had those filets for supper.  YUM.  Definitely highly recommend.  We will be booking with Captain Nick again.

The warm water kept the redfish from biting so Capt Nick took us to the mangrove lined channel. We landed 5 snook in the 25”-30” range. Even though we couldn’t keep them, fighting them on lite rods was a blast. Capt Nick was friendly,  knowledgeable , and worked non-stop to put us on fish. The boat was spotless. We would reccomend him highly.

I’ve had the privilege of fishing all over the world, and I can confidently say my experience with Captain Nick and Grand Slam Charters ranks near the top. We chartered a trip for clients, and despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, we had an absolutely incredible time. Captain Nick’s professionalism, communication, and preparation were second to none, ensuring that we maximized every minute on the water.

We reeled in over 10 different species, with nonstop action that kept the entire group engaged and excited. Dolphins within arm’s reach was icing on the cake.
