My son has wanted to go fishing in the ocean for a couple of years now. For his 10th birthday on July 23, we decided to gift him a fishing trip, and I am incredibly grateful that we found this Captain and his charter service.

From start to finish, the experience was absolutely top-notch. The Captain’s boat and the fishing equipment were immaculate and very comfortable, making the entire experience enjoyable. The dock was easy to locate, and the Marina itself was very nice, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

The Captain himself was amazing. He was communicative and informative prior to the trip and once we boarded his boat. He was incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, making us feel like we were out fishing with an old friend rather than someone we had just met. He took the time to show my son how to fish for flounder and allowed him to reel in the fish that were caught during the lesson, creating an unforgettable and hands-on learning experience for him.

Despite the weather taking a surprising turn and pouring rain for at least an hour, it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit. The fish were biting, and we were having a great time, proving just how exceptional this charter service is. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed every minute of it.

Had a group of six adults out for a 5 hr trip to target Summer Flounder and Black Sea Bass.  The groups previous fishing experience ranged from brand new to seasoned. Captain took the time to educate everyone on board in the proper techniques required to catch fish.

He even gave some one on one time with me to give me some tip on tog fishing, which was outside our intended target fish but had to possibly of catching. I previously had little experience with tog fishing and his coaching helped me to catch a small tog.

Overall a great experience! Everyone on board had a great day on the water and I would recommend this boat and captain to others.

Captain was awesome with the kids explaining everything was the first time on a fishing trip for them moved around several times for us to catch some fish unfortunately we didn’t get anything big enough to take home. The experience was great. We would definitely go back out with captain. I told him I didn’t have any cash on me only a credit card to give him a tip, but I’ll probably send the check in the mail I would highly recommend him he is great with kids.🎣

Had a great day fishing with the family.  My kids 7 and 9 had an absolute blast as did my wife and I.  The boat was beautiful and well outfitted.  Captain Syd and first made Dylan took us out flounder fishing on the bay.  They set us up for success and we couldn’t have been happier.  Everyone had a blast catching lots of fish, a few were close to keepers but nothing to take home.  Would highly recommend Mod Squad Charters!
