Captain Dan was an outstanding guide who made our fishing charter an unforgettable experience. As a local to the St. Petersburg, FL area, he knew exactly where to go to put us on the fish quickly. My 12-year-old son was really hoping to catch a shark—and thanks to Dan, we ended up catching FIVE in just a few hours, along with a variety of other species! Dan’s knowledge, patience, and overall vibe made the trip both exciting, educational, and memorable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water. He truly helped create a special memory for me and my son.

From my initial inquiry into a potential fishing trip, Captain Dan was A+ with responsiveness and answered any questions that we had. I was not sure how I would do on a boat and the main focus of my trip was to have fun with my 7 year old son and give him some fishing stories to tell his friends and family. Success! We signed up for the Beginner Trip and we were on Fish right away. Smooth trip on a clean boat right near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Captain Dan made my son a priority and initially hooked him some fish and then later assisted him reeling in some fish that he caught on his own. A week later and my son is still talking about it and we are ready to fish again soon. Will definitely reach out again if we are in the Tampa/St. Pete area. We caught enough fish for dinner which was also a highlight, but the memories are the true highlight. Thanks again Captain Dan and we hope to see you again. My son actually bought a HUK fishing shirt before we headed back north because that's what Captain Dan was wearing! A+ Trip and Communication.

We spent 8 hours with Capt. Dan & we were sad for it to end. He's super chill, fun, great with kids, extremely knowledgeable about the areas he takes you fishing and super accommodating with the boat time. We didn't have to wait long at all to start catching fish. Broke up the fishing with some island time and it could not have been a better day! Highly recommend!! We will be seeing him again when we head back to Florida.
I'm a Florida native that grew up fishing in the gulf with my father, brother, and others. I moved to Atlanta in 2006 shortly after my son was born. We were visiting my Father in Florida and I wanted my son to have the same experience I had growing up. Captain Dan exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have been more happy with the trip. We will definitely book again.
