Ideal water temperature and weather conditions made this week a really enjoyable time to be out at sea. And on top of that we had a lot of Mahi's biting. The Sea of Cortez is a great spot for deep sea fishing!

Even though tourism has slowed around Loreto, the fishing has definitely NOT slowed down! Lots of Mahi Mahi and Yellowtail Jack, a highly prized game fish characterized by an elongated, fusiform body shape and a distinctive yellow tail. Great fishing and delicious food to be had afterwards. :)

We had an amazing day out at sea - managed to catch a really big Mahi Mahi, which later on made for a delicious meal!
