While we were bringing home the new boat (33 Bertram), Capt Eric had another great inshore trip on the LeGrande Slam. They caught big blues, spadefish, and a huge shark. They hooked this shark on a big hunk of tuna around 1pm, and fought it for almost two hours. People always ask if there are sharks in the bay, well here you go. ThIs was an over 9ft dusky shark, which earned our angler a Virginia release citation. Hopefully these things aren't following the tuna boats home, this is the same type of shark that we have been battling on the tuna grounds.
