Another great day of Walleye fishing with Captain Jack Hartley on the lake (7-9-26). Great weather with light winds (5-12 mph) out of the South/Southeast. Not to hot with some cloud cover and thankfully no flies. Started fishing a few miles out from the drawbridge heading northwest away from the pack. Captain Jack prefers to find his own fish and that’s exactly what he did. We started catching Walleye within 20 minutes and then it was game on for the rest of the morning. There were times when we had triples and doubles. Again, Captain Jack never stopped moving while rigging 8 poles (4 each side of the boat to planer boards) and 2 down riggers off the back. Non stop action till we limited out. Great fishing! Great tackle (All new rods and reels). Great captain and first mate Rich. They filleted and skinned all the fish ending up with 16-20 pounds ready to be Pan-fried or Deep fried with that many fish. We will definitely be back again next year for a third time! The fish weren’t biting that day but we still had a great time. No complaints whatsoever. Captain Jack moved several times in an attempt to increase our catch but the fish just weren’t having it. I would definitely recommend this charter. He was quick to respond to questions and communication was top notch. Hope to go on a walleye charter with him soon.

Captain Jack was very accommodating and put us on the fish all day. He went out of his way to make sure the kids had a great time and was very patient. We managed to catch fish even when other boats were slow. We eould recommend Captain Jack to all and look forward to fishing with him again!
