We had an incredible day out on the water, and what stood out to me most wasn’t just the fishing—it was the teamwork. I’ve never seen charter boats operate the way this group did. Several boats worked together like a true brotherhood, communicating and coordinating to make sure every boat had a chance to get on fish. It wasn’t a one‑man operation; it was a community effort, and it made all the difference.
Our captain, Kyle, was fantastic. He was not only running the boat but also actively training his first mate, Jackson. I was genuinely impressed by Kyle’s patience and the way he took the time to teach Jackson the ropes. In many places, the captain just drives, but Kyle was everywhere—coaching, managing lines, and setting an example of what hard work and good leadership look like. I don’t know what Jackson will choose to do in the years ahead, but the values he’s learning from Kyle are going to serve him well.
As for the day itself, my husband, my grandson, and his two friends all caught fish, laughed, and made memories we’ll be talking about for years. It was fun, relaxed, and completely worth it.
All in all, it was a great day on the water, and I’d highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for both a good time and a crew that truly works together.
