Parent and kids learned how to Set Up and Cast two different types of rods and reels, tie hooks onto the line, use crickets and worms for bait, and reel in 3 different species of fish. Celebration turning 6yrs old by having fishing birthday party was a great idea. Learning the basics like casting two different types of rod & reel combos and baiting the hook using worms and minnows! Hot chocolate and dounuts were the choice for snacks that kept the body warm. We had one largemouth bass come to the hook by the birthday boy but got away! All in all we had a great time outdoors.
