The Spanish Mackerel bite was on fire

These parents wanted to give their 2 boys 6 and 8 a first time deep sea experience. How awesome. Love taking kids fishing. They got to reel in some Spanish Mackerel, Northern Mackerel, and Bonita while trolling. They did great!!

The Spanish Mackerel bit good early and then on to some bottom fishing with calm seas for the crew. Bottom fishing has been a little slow, but they gathered up a decent catch including Red Snapper, Mingo Snapper, and a Scamp Grouper. They also experienced seeing a dolphin swimming next to the boat in the wake. Let them have that for free.

Its that time of year, HOT! The seas are calm though and our anglers enjoyed a morning of catching Red Snapper, Mingo Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and Bonita. 07/01/26
