Great day on the big Manistee.

We had a great time with capt James on the big Manistee. He had several types of lures and bait to catch the attention of the fish of a thousand casts. He was personable, considerate, easy to ask questions, and very informative on what we were doing and why. It was a great experience for me as an experienced fisherman, and my wife as a novice.

Great Trip!
4 Hour Trip – Weekend on април 13, 2024 • 2 adults
Capt. James was very ambitous to get me and my son onto some fish. He knew where the fish was and there was plenty. The fish were very picky on this day but we caught some small brown trout and had 4 steelhead on the lines. We were able to reel in one of them in the boat. We were the only ones in the vicinity to get fish on the line this day. James was very informative and educational on how to fish for Steelhead. We will booking another trip with him again. Thx Capt. James for the great time!

Decided to book a trip with Capt. James as I was taking a friend of mine from New Hampshire who had never salmon fished and had limited fishing experience. Capt. James did a great job explaining techniques and put us on fish. Planning a future trip!
