We recently went on a fishing excursion in Barcelona as part of a bachelor trip, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our stay. Our group was a mix of experienced fishers, complete beginners, and first-timers – and this trip managed to exceed expectations for all of us. From the moment we stepped on board, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The snacks, cheese, and meat plates were not only delicious but clearly prepared with love – and were all included in the price, which was a great touch. Our captain, Geronimo, was outstanding. He knew the sea like the back of his hand and had an incredible route planned out for us. Throughout the trip, we bombarded him with questions (many of which he has surely answered a hundred times before), but his passion for fishing and love for his work truly shone through. He was patient, informative, and genuinely happy to share his knowledge with us. We caught a ton of fish and had so many laughs, but the real cherry on top was landing a huge, heavy catch – a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll never forget. It wouldn’t have been possible without Geronimo’s expertise and intuition.

Recently booked a fishing with Geronimo and our group had a good time! Geronimo responds quickly and was very accommodating. We had a group of 12 and he helped us to find another boat so we all can go fishing. He was organized and summarized the plan for us prior to the trip. He also gave the option to stop by the beach before heading back to the port. On the fishing day, he actively monitor the fish around the spots and would moved accordingly to make sure everybody has a chance to catch fish. We went tuna fishing near Barcelona, and it turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more. Catching tuna had been a long-time dream, and this trip truly made it come true. Of course, fishing always involves a bit of luck, but when you have an excellent captain, a fantastic boat, and the best gear you could ask for, luck is definitely on your side. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and friendly, and the captain made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire trip. He even prepared a selection of delicious snacks and appetizers for us, which was a really thoughtful and enjoyable touch.

We booked with Geronimo and had a blast! If ever back in Spain we’ll do it again!! Our two boys loved catching the bait fish (caught plenty of those). Then on to the “Big Fish”… We were on top of a tuna multiple times and the thrill of watching the boys chase that tuna was priceless! No tuna but Geronimo was stocked with snacks and drinks for all of us! What a great day to be on the water chasing tuna!
