Cascade Fishing Guides offers safe education and participation-centric fishing experiences that cater to all skill levels. We provide boat, electronics, safety gear, rods, reels, tackle and bait for an exciting day chasing Salmon, Lingcod, Halibut, Spot Prawn (shrimp), and Dungeness Crab in the best locations in Washington including: Seattle, Edmonds, Everett, San Juan Islands, Kingston, Port Townsend, Sequim, Anacortes and Whidby Island.
Our boat is a 2021 North River Seahawk, an all welded aluminum boat designed for fishing with fully enclosed cabin, comfortable seating for 5 and portable toilet. The boat is fully equipped with the latest Garmin electronics including radar, GPS, fish finders, EPIRB, VHF with AIS, autopilot, SIONYX night vision camera, High Performance Scotty Downriggers and electric reels for deep water Halibut.
One day fishing licenses are available on the boat for $ 15.00 for those that don't have one.
We welcome groups, families and kids ages 6 and up.
It's the PNW so dress appropriately in layers with rain gear.
Bring sunscreen (no sprays!!), sunglasses, hats and cameras.
Bring drinks and snacks, but please refrain from bringing hard alcohol or glass bottles.
The boat is a no smoking vessel and USCG regulations prohibit drugs on board (even marijuana).
I can't guarantee you'll catch fish, but will use my experience to give you the best chances of bringing fish home.
You keep what you catch.
Fish cleaning and filleting is included.

High Tech Puget Sound Fish Hunter

Captain Mark has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Puget Sound waters, and every detail of the Salmon feeding patterns and preferences.
He has his own secret formula for bait and rigging up his tackle.
Multiple times he went above and beyond soliciting our preferences and making sure to accommodate our group. He was an especially amazing teacher as he patiently answered dozens of questions from our 10-year-old grandson.
Captain Mark never sat down for five hours, but constantly was working the Downrigger’s, changing the tackle, micromanaging the auto pilot with his Bluetooth remote around his neck while maintaining safety and situational awareness which was always his top priority.
It was a beautiful day on the water and everyone had fun. I feel like I have a new friend with an inside track for Fishing the Puget Sound and will definitely book another trip with my friends on Captain Mark’s boat.

Amazing Day on the Puget Sound

My cousin and I wound up rolling the dice on an afternoon trip, which Mark rightly warned us about, but we limited out ahead of schedule on a pristine boat equipped with technology I had never seen. We were admittedly a little rusty but Mark was totally prepared and easy going, and we wound up learning a lot about fish we never had the opportunity to target in an area we knew nothing about, with no gear of our own. He was very proactive about communication so if you're a bit more experienced I'm sure he would willingly take a step back and bring you to the fish, he even offered to pick us up early when his AM trip limited out extremely fast. Also very situationally aware and safety minded without being uptight.
Cannot recommend enough, will book again!

Great Trip, Great Captain

Mark was a great guy to go fishing with! He was extremely generous in answering multiple questions we had before the trip and accommodating to all our needs. He has a great boat to fish on and it’s obvious he takes pride in what he does and has a genuine respect and passion for the fishing industry and all of its facets. He was a great conversationalist and we learned a lot about many things! We’d definitely fish with him again.

The best guided fishing trip I’ve been on! I’ve only been fishing a few times and he definitely made us feel comfortable, educated us well, was extremely nice and helpful, and we caught our limit for the day! Since he didn’t have anyone scheduled after us, we got to stay on the water longer to reach our catch limit. I will definitely be fishing on his boat again, and recommend him to anyone looking for a great guide!

Happy shrimpers!
4 Hour Trip – Shrimp (AM) on јун 7, 2025 • 2 adults
Went out with captain Mark for early morning spot shrimp. His usual spot was closed so he took us farther out. Captain is knowledgeable, humorous, and prioritizes passenger safety. Before and after the trip he is extremely responsive to inquiries or any questions we had. Full boat of limits! Absolutely would go again and recommend to friends and family.
