At Marrajo, you won't be on a boat full of unknown anglers. You'll have a private boat just for you, your friends, or family. This allows us to easily adapt to each client's requests, such as changing fishing styles if we notice low activity for that day.
We are the only charter in Gran Canaria truly specialized in bottom fishing, jigging, light jigging, live bait fishing, or squid fishing. We are backed by major international fishing brands, keeping us up to date with all the latest trends. We frequently have exclusive gear that hasn't even hit the market yet and is still in prototype or testing phases, including rods, reels, lures, and accessories.
We depart from Pasito Blanco harbor. Depending on the fishing style chosen for the day, we head directly to our fishing spots for modalities like jigging or bait fishing. For live bait fishing, we first catch our own bait (sardines, mackerel, or even squid or cuttlefish in winter) and then select our fishing area based on weather conditions and the timing of the trip.
At Marrajo Fishing, our main goal—besides helping you catch your trophy fish—is to make sure you feel informed, accompanied, and guided at all times by the captain, who will stay by your side to provide the best professional tips for local fishing.

Great trip with Valter who was knowledgable, patient, and super friendly for our five hour deep sea trip. The first two-ish hours were quiet, then my son pulled in a skipjack tuna followed shortly thereafter by a large wahoo. Valter let us continue to troll on our way back to the marina and we caught a second wahoo! It was a memorable and wonderful trip. We kept enough of our catch to make tuna ceviche and blacked wahoo tacos for dinner for our extended family too!
On out 8hr fishing trip unfortunately the big fish were just not biting but our skipper Marrajo was trying his very best to find them and covered many miles of fishig ground for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and we throughly enjoyed our day. Highly recommended by us hopefully next time we will see some tight lines. Thank you for an amazing day!

Wir haben den 6-stündigen Trip gebucht. In der ersten Stunde haben wir reichlich Köderfische gefangen, danach ging es raus zu den großen Fischen. Dank Kapitän Valter haben wir mehrere spots angefahren und dabei insgesamt 5 Fische gefangen (Red Snapper, Barracuda). Zwischendurch gab es zur Stärkung einen Snack und Getränke. Wir hatten viel Spaß und Kapitän Valter hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Daher von uns 100%ige Weiterempfehlung!
no fish on this trip but the captain really did try his best to try and catch fish i know this as i have been on many charter trips and you get to know what captains are really trying to get on the fish and what ones arent, and he certainly was trying it was just one of those days .
