If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Cavalier Sport Fishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Hafid is prepared to put you on fish.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Bonito, Dentex, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Blue Marlin, White Marlin, White Trevally, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and whatever else takes the bait.
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your vessel for the day is a 35' Walkaround that holds up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask, and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
