Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your boat for the day is a 16' ClackaCraft drift boat with capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

We had a great experience fishing with Jon from Saint Joe Angler. Jon is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to teach us about different lures, fishing techniques, and why certain approaches work in different conditions. We learned so much during our trip. He is personable, easy to talk to, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. As visitors from out of town, one of the highlights was that Jon showed us areas we never would have found on our own, giving us a unique perspective of the area. His communication before and during the trip was excellent, making everything easy and stress-free. Captain Jon was very nice, polite and punctual. He stayed in communication with us until we met with him to go fish. Very relaxing time on the water as he navigated his way up and down the paw paw river. Was always at the ready to try a different rigging to keep the fish guessing. At the end of our trip he was even able to take us out into the Harbor and try some salmon fishing.Great time, would book again!

Second time goong out with Jon. Had a great day on the water for my boys 11th birthday, he caught some pike and smallies, and as an added bonus he got to fight a few steelhead!
