You will most likely find yourself trolling for Walleye as we can most efficiently cover water and increase our catch rate. You are able to troll with 3 rods per person in Ohio waters of Lake Erie
You are encouraged to contact Capt. Jim and discuss what your objectives are. Whether you are looking to just have a fun day of catching fish or wish to learn something in particular, Capt. Jim can help tailor the trip to suite your needs. (i.e. using electronics, test riding the North River, Walleye trolling tips and tricks, etc…)
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, so the proper sizes can be prepared ahead of time. Snacks are also a good idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your boat for the day is a 23' North River Seahawk. With plenty of space in the Stern, 3 passengers can fish comfortably. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water, including a bimini and enclosed cabin should you need it. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is provided as necessary.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and drinks. Alcohol is not allowed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an awesome time fishing with Captain Jim! He was super nice, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip. We caught our limit in walleye and had so much fun doing it. Hands down the best charter experience we’ve ever had — can’t wait to go again!

Jim took my dad and I out on a day when other anglers were cancelling on us. His communication and attitude were excellent. Great boat with great tools for finding the fish and an enjoyable time. We caught basically the limit of walleye per person despite unforecasted winds and even some rain. Thanks Jim!
