On the day of your trip you're likely to jig. Capt. Erick Misael also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Your day begins aboard a 23' Imemsa panga with capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.

Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
