Great trip!

Had the best time with Captain Jon!  I messaged him before hand to make sure I booked the right trip for the kind of fish we wanted to target and he messaged me back quickly to confirm the best trip. He worked his butt off to get us fish!  We limited out on Red Fish (which is what we wanted to target), and got some drum and a few trout. Would highly recommend using Jon he did a fantastic job getting us on fish and moving when they would stop biting!  He baited and cast our rods where he thought the fish would be!  We will be booking more trips in the future!

Good Fishing in Poor Weather

What a day! High tide, windy and raining at times; we started trying to catch trout but water was to murky, so Captain Jon moved us around to locate the fish as we first got our limit on black drum, then went after redfish. We took home nice filets from these 16 fish. We released several other black and red drums that were too small or over the quota along with a few hardhead catfish. 
Captain Jon did an outstanding job of maneuvering us around to get the fish and a great trip!

I came into town the night before and Captain Jon was able to not only accommodate me on short notice, but put me on the fish! Great guy with tons of knowledge, easy going and an all around good time!

The Captain was great! He put us on fish right from the beginning. When things got slow at one spot, we moved on to the next. The Captain did a great job.

Half Day evening trip with Captain Jon Mahan

Well I really do not know how to describe our trip accurately.  I have fished literally my entire life.  We are fairly new to saltwater fishing so I booked three trips for my sons 19th birthday and each cancelled on us for various reasons.  Captain Jon Mahan accepted a last minute booking and it was absolutely incredible.  The first hour was good fishing. My son and I caught all the fish that we wanted to keep.  The location we were fishing got a little crowded so Captain  Jon moved us around a few times each time catching fish.  Captain Jon then moved to another location that makes this hard to explain.  For two solid hours we hooked into large Reds on every cast! We literally would cast and start counting.  Before we could get to 10 the line would start running.  We lost count very quickly on the number of Reds that we were catching.  In the process catching 3 over slot!  The thing that impressed me the most about the captain was his willingness to explain everything to us as we went.  Why we moved, why we were casting where he told us to, how the fish schooled and how he suggested to bait our lines.  When we had a question he answered. Needless to say we will defiantly be using his services in the future.
