We select the most productive accessible stretch of Melbourne Beach based on the tide, surf, weather, seasonal movement, and recent fishing activity. Depending on conditions, catches may include pompano, whiting, black drum, redfish, snook, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, tarpon, and several shark species.
This is a shore-based private fishing trip: your group gets room to spread out on the beach, easy access for children and non-anglers, and a complete guided experience without boarding a boat. There's no better place to fish than from the beach!

We’ve lived here a few years and have not beach fished , it started out slow and picked up as it was our time to leave . Which was fine, I’ve met two nice people and they worked it well in the 8 poles we had out ! Was a nice way to spend my morning, thank you J&D !
It was great fishing with you and Chris, Carol. Thanks for choosing to take your first crack at fishing from the beach with the CrushStation! Also, FYI, we've been fishing 3 times since our trip together, and not a single catfish since, lol.
These guys are extremely flexible with timing. They accommodated all our needs and are beyond hospital. They love what they do and it’s infectious! It was a great day on the shore!!!

Capt. Crush just started offering guided surf fishing trips in 2025, but he's been fishing the surf in Melbourne Beach his entire life. He loves all types of fishing, but above all else, he enjoys doing it most with two bare feet sunk into the sand. He's not always at the beach, but when he's not, he remains dialed in to what's biting as co-founder and publisher of Spacefish (est. 2018), a digital platform dedicated to local fishing here on the Space Coast, which continues to grow as an authoritative, recognized center of East Central Florida's fishing community. Unlike some other charters, when you book with CrushStation, you will be fishing with Capt. Crush himself (and crew) -- not some rando mystery guide off the street!
