Around here, it’s all about light-tackle fishing. We specialize in trolling on Lake Erie and drift fishing on the Maumee River. Captain Zack supplies the rods, reels, lures, and live bait, everything you need.
These waters are famous for walleye, and on a good day, you’ll see why. Any keeper fish you catch are yours to take home. Nothing beats fresh-caught fish for dinner.
We run two boats depending on the trip. On Lake Erie, you’ll be aboard a 25’ North River Osprey that comfortably accommodates up to six passengers plus the captain.
Just a heads-up: your fishing license for the day isn’t included, so plan to purchase one online ahead of time. There are some exceptions worth checking. Dress in layers and wear good footwear; if you’re not sure what works best, just ask. I always recommend bringing water, sunglasses, and sunscreen, no matter what the forecast says.
This is a family-friendly trip, so bring the kids if you want. In Ohio, children under 10 years old must actively wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket, which is provided unless you would like to bring your own.
